A wise woman builds her home

 


A woman’s role in building up a family is incomparable to any one else.  God has given us women the uncanny ability to feel the emotions and needs of every member in the family and cater to their needs.

Our words form a great part of either building up or tearing down our homes. Loving, kind, forgiving words have the ability to heal, build up and enrich the home. While angry, hateful or harsh words tear down relationships and peace in the home. 

So take time to introspect how are your words? Are they wise and discerning? Are they building up your family or breaking it apart? 

Remember, a broken family brings no joy to anyone. 

Let’s ask the Lord to help us speak words that build, nourish and strengthen our homes.

Joyful Giving

  The Bible teaches us many principles for living as the children of God. I like to call these the Kingdom Principles. One such principle is regarding giving. It may be giving to God, or to others; either as tithes and offerings or as gifts of money, things or time. Why give? God is the source of all our blessings: James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth”. So, our giving to the LORD acknowledges Him as the source of all our blessings; it shows our gratefulness; and it honors & glorifies Him. Mother’s role in a married child’s life

  On Mother’s Day, we often get wishes and messages relating to young moms. Mothers who have little children or even teens. Seldom do we see messages addressing mothers of grown up married children. So here is a short one for all the older moms, and of course the younger moms can glean a lot of wisdom from this too. When your child is 30 or 40 or even 50 years old, still you are a mother and your influence in their life has a huge impact on them and their family.   When your child gets married, they are entering a new phase and so are you. The Bible says “A man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife”. This applies to both son and daughter. Your son or daughter needs to leave you and cleave to their spouse.
